Staff at The Royal Mint and its new visitor attraction, The Royal Mint Experience, were in no doubt when it came to voting for their next nominated charity. Their new partnership with Velindre Cancer Centre will see them throwing themselves into a range of novel activities in order to raise funds for the worthy cause.

The Royal Mint’s Chief Executive, Adam Lawrence said, “I am constantly amazed and proud of the enthusiasm and generosity shown by The Royal Mint staff when it comes to fundraising for their chosen charity. I am looking forward to seeing the variety of ways in which they plan to raise money for such a deserving cause as Velindre.”

Andrew Morris Head of Fundraising at Velindre said “We are delighted to have been chosen by The Royal Mint employees as their adopted Charity. The two year partnership is excellent news as this will allow us plenty of planning time to ensure that the maximum amount possible is raised so that Velindre can continue to provide care, support and treatment to patients and families dealing with cancer in Wales.

The Royal Mint is a hugely respected and prestigious organisation,  and we are delighted that Velindre will benefit from the support of its employees.”
